In part two of the Fairytale Movement it was Snow White’s turn to get married. Even though it was shot on one of the hottest days of the year we wanted to have a Christmas themed shoot which meant we need snow and lots of it!
I kept the styling simple with just four colours, red, white, green & silver accents, it worked really well against the snow and the Christmas tree backdrop.
The table included some tempting cocktails, apple escort cards and some naughty jars filled with red and white sweets.
I gave Snow White killer red heels which meant she had to have a short dress to show them off.
For her headdress we had two pieces, a stunning floral piece and a glitter bow – I loved them both and really struggled to choose a favourite!
The cake was a masterpiece, starting at the bottom with layers of frills and roses and finishing with a gorgeous and magical silhouette scene topped with roses. It was so elegant, just like I imagined Snow White to be.
The makeup was classic and sophisticated with subtle eyes and bright, bold lips!
The flowers were stunning, an assortment of colours and textures that even included apples and feathers.
The shoot was so much fun, Christmas is my favourite time of year so being able to play in snow and create a Christmas theme wedding didn’t really feel like work!
We were so lucky to have a behind the scenes video filmed to show the setup, the work behind the images and how on earth our model managed to walk in those shoes, I’ll never know – I hope you enjoy it.
