How To Have a Golf Themed Wedding

I recently styled a golf themed photo shoot for Goring & Streatley Golf Club. This lovely venue are starting to promote weddings but they didn’t have any images to showcase the venue – this is where Shannon & I stepped in!

We gathered some of our favourite suppliers to create this fabulous styled photo shoot and I hope you agree that the golf theme is quite cute but not too overpowering.

The main room was decorated with lots of bunting, the main wedding breakfast table and of course a cake & sweet table.

The cake was covered in golf patterns but in soft pastel colours that we used throughout the rest of the theme.  I fell in love with the cake pop golf balls!

The table plan and props kept in with the rustic, outdoors theme with simple chalk boards and wooden place name holders.

We had fun with the flowers and incorporated golf tees into the groom’s button hole and used golf balls to fill the goldfish bowl centrepiece.

This shoot shows that you can have a theme that works well with your venue without being overpowering.
