This morning I posted the styling details for my Cinderella Fairytale Photo Shoots. I’ve split the post into two parts because there are just too many gorgeous images for one post – this post looks at the dresses, shoes, jewellery and fascinators.
The stage was set – Cinderella and Prince Charming were getting married at Eynsham Hall!
This stunning venue has the most beautiful grounds – the perfect location for a glamorous wedding.
As this was the biggest set we’ve done so far I wanted to have 3 bridesmaids and groomsmen. I picked a palette of dusky pink, turquoise and lilac for the wedding and I co-ordinated each bridesmaid and her partner in these colours.
I love the way the the bridesmaids all had the same dress but in different colours, it really added the overall look.
Each groomsman had the same suit but we changed their ties, waistcoats and buttonholes to match their partners.
Each bridesmaid had a button wand to match their dress – these were so much fun and a great alternative to a traditional bouquet.
The hairpieces were again all similar in style but the colours and feathers used were different to tie in with the dresses.
Hair for each of the bridesmaids was a simple bun at the back of the head because we didn’t want anything over complicated to clash with the hairpieces.
The jewellery was all bespoke and captured the romantic Marie Antoinette era perfectly.
I love the layered look that we achieved with the long beads and gold with just a hint of colour – I think it worked really well.
For the shoes it was all about the bling – Cinderella of course had the most outrageously glittery heels with her bridesmaids each having a touch of sparkle.
The modern crystals with the vintage jewwllery really complemented each other.
Cinderella had to have the ultimate princess dress with lots of bling and a huge skirt – this dramatic look is just stunning.
Her hair was styled in an up do with softer pieces at the front so it didn’t look too harsh. The hair piece was a larger version of those created for the bridesmaids with beautiful white feathers, a veil and a jewelled brooch centrepiece.
Her make up was kept simple with dramatic eyes glittered with gold eyeshadow, long lashes and a gorgeous pink on her lips.
To add even more drama to the evening look we added a lace face mask – this look was breathtaking.
Look at the size of the skirt!
With a dress like this we were able to create some gorgeous shots that just looked so magical!
As ever I couldn’t have created this shoot without the help of my dream team – these guys worked so hard to help me pull the whole look together. So that is the last of my fairytale shoots for this year – plans are already in place for 2014 and they are going to be awesome, I can’t wait to share them with you!
