Ruby’s Picture of the Week: No. 125 – This is England!

On Wednesday I went with Shannon in search of the perfect beach and after a 2 hour drive we discovered a little piece of paradise in Durdle Door, Dorset.  This privately owned cove is part of the Lulworth Estate that has been in the Weld family estate since 1641 and is open to the public.  I couldn’t believe my eyes when we arrived at the beach, it was a bright sunny day and the rich blue colour of the sea could have easily fooled you into thinking you had been transported to the Mediterranean.  I highly recommend you visit this gorgeous beach and I will definitely be back soon to spend a lot more time there – just make sure you pack light, it is quite a trek down to the beach!
