I hope you are ready for a colour explosion, the location for my Middle East meets Bollywood Aladdin shoot was a fabulous mughal style tent set in the grounds of the beautiful Crowne Plaza Heythrop.
The huge floral centrepiece was a chandelier of flowers that cascaded down to the table from the centre of the roof – it was a real show stopper!
The wedding breakfast table was oozing glamour with a gold sequin table cloth that was covered with coloured vases, bright flowers and gold elephants intermingled with the flowers from the chandelier.
The place settings were handmade paper pinwheels with genie lamp details and napkins made from sari fabric. Over sized gerberas formed the place centrepieces on top of the gold charger plates.
The table plan was made by stringing diamond shaped card pieces and adding them to a crystal chandelier for a fun and interesting alternative to a traditional plan, it worked really with our glittery theme.
Our cake, or rather cakes, were towering masterpieces decked out in purple and gold, covered in gold embellishments and dripping in gems for a super extravagant treat for the eyes. We set them on a low table filled with Middle Eastern sweets and fruits to creating a mouthwatering treat table.
For the ceremony space we filled a smaller tent with pin wheels in a range of sizes and colours with matching streamers to create a bright backdrop.
Our Jasmine was dressed in a blue and gold dress and was dripping in gold jewels. Instead of a bouquet we gave her a beautiful floral wrist corsage that complemented her bangles.
Her hair and make up was strong and dramatic using bright colours and glitter for the eyes and a large headpiece that I fell a little in love with!
