For me, Cinderella is the ultimate fairytale princess – the story is full of sparkle and glamour and that was exactly the look I was going for.
The table was covered with flowers, gold candlebras, gold cutlery and a pink tea set – perfect for any princess! The place settings were gold glitter covered pumpkins with a placecard inserted, I also used glitter on the rim of the wine glasses and mini champagne bottles which would be perfect for a sparkling drinks reception.
The flowers were so romantic with gorgeous roses and mixed flowers in our pink, turquoise and lilac colour scheme. To create the elegant and extravagant look we used tall candlebras decorated with flowers at the base and around the candles. The cake was a towering triumph – again using the same colour palette we combined the pumpkin theme with buttons to match the bouquets and plenty of sparkle.
We used a lot of flowers on the wedding table and I wanted to have a large over the top brooch bouquet for Cinderella that reflected the glitz and glamour throughout the scenes. The bouquet was so detailed with glass slippers, a golden carriage, crowns and clocks to name but a few of the brooches included. The groom and groomsmen also had brooch button holes, each mirroring the colours of their partner. Prince Charming’s buttonhole incorporated all of the colours into a large piece.
